I felt like I couldn’t reflect on my Unit one project in any other way than creating my own political cartoon. This demonstrates the main purpose of my project which is how. art can be put in conversation in order to create a peaceful environment. The cartoon pictures a man holding a painted sign and exclaiming to drop their weapons and pick up the paint brush. As a result it signals to the audience that art can be a potential solution to the current turmoil. Throughout this project I felt as though I became more interested in the topic as I learned more about it. This is largely due to the wide array of knowledge at my fingertips that technology provides. In addition, I could certainly see myself expanding off of this research in future projects because this project has become rather important to me. It is also crucial to continue my research because my sources as a whole rarer slightly different and vastly serve the exact same purpose. Therefore, I feel as though it would be useful to gather sources that would be far more different than the other sources. In conclusion, I am pleased with what tI have already accumulated and excited to continue my research process as well.
Abe, this is a fascinating political cartoon. It spoke to me in so many ways. Being able to not revert to violence and disagreement is vital in trying to achieve a successful brand of political discourse. Your knowledge of technology seemed to have played a large role in this unit, and that is something that I envy. I am not as tech-savvy as others.

Loved the artwork style and message. I definitely think you should incorporate this into future units. Maybe a timelapse?- Ahmed Reifenheiser
